Logistics specialists launch strategic partnership with Antenna Software, begin migration to scalable and flexible Antenna Mobility Platform
Guildford, UK and Jersey City, NJ, 22nd AUGUST 2011 – Antenna Software, helping enterprises to build, manage, and publish mobile apps and websites that transform business, and Consafe Logistics, through its business area ConsafeMobility, have today announced the launch of a strategic partnership which will see the Scandinavian company begin to migrate their mobility customers to Antenna’s AMP platform ahead of pushing into new markets and geographies.
Consafe Logistics, which has traditionally specialised in logistics and warehouse management solutions for companies including Nestle, Carlsberg and Unilever, has invested in AMP to secure ConsafeMobility’s solutions for the future. The platform, which will allow the company to create, deploy and manage mobile apps for its enterprise customers, is highly scalable and versatile, and supports a wide range of operating systems including Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, and Windows Phone 7 for phones and tablets.
AMP enables apps to be built once and propagated rapidly across multiple and disparate operating systems, resulting in faster time-to-market for ConsafeMobility and its customers. AMP also offers multiple integration points into back-end systems, allowing customers to leverage existing technology investments. It is ConsafeMobility’s intention to gradually migrate its existing clients to the Antenna platform, while offering the host of additional business-to-mobility services provided by AMP to support its European expansion.
The partnership will give ConsafeMobility a broader portfolio to better address the needs of a wide variety of organisations that are looking to improve productivity and customer service by mobilising their workforces. By automating and extending business processes, organizations—their employees and customers—can enjoy a more responsive and immersive experience.
