Simulation shows the results before implementation

A simulation project creates a common image of the present situation and a common vision for the organisation. We generate a number of warehouse layout alternatives based on information from a warehouse diagnosis. You can test and compare different flows in the same layout and see what results they give without making any physical changes.

Simulation is a very cost-effective method on which to base decisions before starting any improvement projects.

A simulation can give answers about:

Clear and visual results

During each project we perform at least two simulations, one simulation of the present situation and one of the future situation. Our warehouse simulation begins with us building a model of what the warehouse looks like today including the relation between goods and order flows. We then calculate the warehouse’s current cost structure and efficiency. The first simulation is used as a reference. The second simulation shows what the warehouse will look like after rebuilding, new construction or other required change. We present reports regarding the amount of time needed, staff and calculated costs. Warehouse functions are presented in a 3-dimensional model.
