Prime Cargo has opened a new 40,000 square metre distribution centre in Vestby, southeast of Oslo, Norway. All warehouse operations will be coordinated using Astro WMS® from Consafe Logistics.

Prime Cargo AS has been using Astro WMS® for its 3PL business since 2006. And Europe’s leading warehouse software helps them run two other warehouses in Vestby.

When the company signed a contract with Cuveco AS to distribute beverages for HoReCa (food service industry), and to Vinmonopolet, Norway’s state-owned retailer of wine, spirits and strong beer, it contacted Consafe Logistics for advice on how to run a new warehouse – and to implement Astro WMS® to run the warehouse.

We have been Prime Cargo’s main WMS supplier and logistics know-how partner for many years. That trust we built up was integral in us getting this order.” Joakim Gustafsson, Business Relations Manager at Consafe Logistics.

We use Astro WMS® to run our operations in our other two warehouses in Vestby. We know the software and the benefits we get including full control over our warehouse performance, while reducing our operating costs. It was a natural choice for us to continue to work with Consafe Logistics.” Rorger Hallstensen, Logistics Director, Prime Cargo.
