Consafe Logistics has received validation of its near-term science-based emissions reduction targets from SBTi Services, the validation services body of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This marks an important step in the company’s efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with climate science.
The validated near-term targets cover Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions. The base year is 2024, and the target year is 2035.
Consafe Logistics AB commits to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions 71.8 % by 2035 from a 2024 base year. Consafe Logistics AB also commits to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services and business travel 30.2 % within the same timeframe.
